He hasn't walked back enough. It's really just the Lock Her Up that he's backed out of, right? He hasn't backed off climate change being not an issue or immigration.

I used to have Green Day's version on a workout mix. Perfect for that purpose anyway...

Bands that can draw more than 4,000 people on their own would be my guess as to the cut line.

Winning bid was $122! It's so great that Jeff can bring in that much for this charity. Almost $200K this year alone. -

Online auction ends in a little bit. Currently at $33K. -
I was thinking the same thing and Solid Sound gets you two full Wilco sets plus all the other amazing things...

It does look nice. It it hard to tell for sure whether Glenn will actually be performing at that event. Hopefully we find out more closer to June.

Jeff Tweedy appearance at 1:50/4:28 of this clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PUdnT5UFzk#action=share "Singing outside in a hot hot summer. she fell in love with the plumber, a union member plumber" LOL "I guess if we franchise someday...probably as good as I could do"

I literally just found out about the Quiet Riot covers from the previous posts! I had no idea. Van Halen's Kinks cover is definitely another one for me that somebody else mentioned. Guns N' Roses Spaghetti Incident cover album turned me onto the Stooges (Raw Power) and Johnny Thunders ("You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory")

Schmilco did not get nominated for a Grammy. I think that is the first Wilco album to not get nominated since Summerteeth. But, as Jeff used to say prior to winning one, "Fuck the Grammys"

Makes much more sense now!

They had a tour bus at their first gig? How did they pull that off (most bands start with a van)? I'm not familiar with their origins, was Warren famous before that band started?

If I Ever Was a Child made Rolling Stone Magazine's Singles of the year list coming in at #15. They are in very un-similar company.

Good question. B-side compilation seems unlikely since Alpha Mike Foxtrot compiled 20 years worth of b-sides only 24 months ago. We've heard there is a lot of Tweedy material ready so that seems possible. We've been hearing about a new Loose Fur for a long time. Is it time for another "real" live album like Kicking Television? That one came out 11 years ago now...

When do we get to talk about the ticket prices? It seems that Wilco has made a big jump with these dates charging $95 for Chicago, NY and Toronto while "only" charging $50 in Kzoo. Obviously they can pull it off in Chicago judging by the 3 sellouts. Kind of a bummer none the less. I guess high ticket prices are just the new normal? I'd think with higher prices, we can expect that to limit the number of people attending multiple shows and consequently the need to change up the setlist. We can also expect new fans to be a slower on the uptick given the cost. I know I'd be less willing to pay $

I'd bet the Toronto setlist variation would look a lot like the recent Seattle setlist variation. 26 or 27 total songs. 12 songs that are played on night 1 are replaced by other songs on night 2

Free Low & JT Performance Plus Q&A - Chicago 7th March

I stopped in last week. Picked up Mermaid II at 50% off. Not bad. I am just playing it now and looking at the liner notes and artwork. Jeff Tweedy plays mandolin on it! I had no idea. I think Saki's last day is tomorrow... -
Are we sure Wilco will be doing West Coast shows in '17? Seems like they were just there with the Schmilco setup.

I love that they thought "and the Zone" was a good idea.
