I love all the Crowe talk. Getting me to think about buying a ticket to see them at the Riv. Best albums are without a doubt Three Snakes, Band Sessions and Southern Harmony. I like the new album but not nearly as much as some of their older stuff and the bonus album isn't good.

I was at the game. Had no idea it was going to be Eddie doing the pitch and the stretch. Was a fun three Pearl Jam days with the Sunday and Monday shows. Night 1 being a little bit better than night 2 in my opinion. I forgot how good that band can be...

Candyfloss and the remix are on the copy I bought when I came out in 1999. Although they aren't listed. Both tracks are on itunes.

Jeff had a similiar interview to the Glenn one posted above. Sounded like Leroy just didn't want to do Wilco anymore and Jeff respected that he didn't stick around for the paycheck (almost implied that other band members had done so in the past).

Seems like there are still some dates in the schedule that could be filled in. Wilco doesn't usually have so many days off during a 2-3 week tour. Hopefully some more good cities/venues pop up.

Studio. They are great live, but Heavy Metal Drummer and Jesus Etc are much better in the studio. How about Jeff Tweedy solo versions? I am Trying to Break Your Heart wins in that fashion for me.

UIC. Too bad - sound isn't great, but it could be a big party. Hope they go for at least some GA.

33rd Wilco show (12th state) and it was a fun one. Woke up and walked by Glenn on the street. Met Nels at the record signing. Listened to most of sound check while walking around the piers/ wharfs (Deeper Down, Kamera, At My Window, Hesitating Beauty, Just a Kid) and just enjoyed the heck out of watching the set. Wilco and GA seating are a good combo. So glad the rain held out and that they played a lot of the newest album. Portland is a cool town.

Charter One or Chicago Theater would be cool since they haven't done either. UIC isn't great either. Looks like Pronto has dates 9/8 - 9/19, Nels is playing 9/3-9/4 so those would be out.
