The shows they did in Japan last month looked fantastic on paper. I'm not sure what version of the band they are on (4? - AFD, UYI, 2002 and now 2010), but this would be my least favorite of the four....thought they had an interesting thing going with Buckethead, Brain and Robin Finck but now those guys are gone too. Good luck in Canada Axl - I'm sure you'll sell a lot of albums there - I hear their best buys are superior to the US.

Soundgarden was never big on touring. I'm guessing they are doing at least 3 of the big US festivals this year. Maybe some Europe ones as well? What do you all think?

Not impressed by Up in Air last night. Acting was fine (Although Clooney is just Clooney) but the story is boring and predictable. Worst opening titles sequence I've seen in a long time too. Oh well - I was looking forward to that one...

Good song indeed. Best of the covers so far?

Watched Away We Go through Netflix last night and loved it. Watched Brothers at the theater last weekend and it was excellent. Best movie I've seen this year.
-
The movie is indeed great. The song sounds like U2 in their current phase - the movie also prominently features Bad which is far superior to Winter...

I'm reading That Old Cape Magic by Richard Russo and not finding it to be his best work, but it is a pleasant read. Next up is the newest Nick Hornby...

Really like the newest. Great Tweedy guitar.

Seems like they may spend the week between 1/29 and their 2/7 date in the Pac NW on the West Coast? They wouldn't fly home and then back, would they? Studio time? Additional dates? Wonder what Neil Song (s) they'll play. Sounds cool.

Fans who know the material. Maybe a slightly more excited band than in Ann Arbor for the hometown.

Two hard tickets for tonight's show. Section 113 Row S. Can meet any time today - live in Wicker Park or can meet at the venue. Send me a PM

Remember how everybody was wondering who this Nels Cline guy was that was too good for Wilco? He made some comments on his web site a couple weeks before the gig apologizing to his fans for compromising and joining Wilco. I forgave him about a song into it. Didn't think much of that Pittsburgh show. I was there too.

May 19th, 2004. It was also Pat's first show, first show without Leroy. Pretty big show in Wilco history. I was there the next night and the energy on Spiders was awesome - first time playing the updated version with the new band. Unreal.

Great great great. I've gone on a 5 hour drive and put Tom petty on shuffle. Didn't dissapoint. Very few clunkers.

the dueling goes back to when they joined the band. jeff used to be in on it too, but now he just hangs back and plays the riff that wraps it up.
-
Hi - I'm looking for one, but will buy a pair if you don't want to split them up. PM me if you can help.
-
I surely hope Jeff doesn't read this board

I have another one to add to the list: Wilco nevers comes to XXXX. Wilco plays Chicago every other day. Wilco hates Floria (and the south and the midwest and the east) -
I love all the Crowe talk. Getting me to think about buying a ticket to see them at the Riv. Best albums are without a doubt Three Snakes, Band Sessions and Southern Harmony. I like the new album but not nearly as much as some of their older stuff and the bonus album isn't good.

4 bucks at amazon right now for both albums together
-
Comes out on Monday, right? Have both albums leaked?
-
I was at the game. Had no idea it was going to be Eddie doing the pitch and the stretch. Was a fun three Pearl Jam days with the Sunday and Monday shows. Night 1 being a little bit better than night 2 in my opinion. I forgot how good that band can be...

Candyfloss and the remix are on the copy I bought when I came out in 1999. Although they aren't listed. Both tracks are on itunes.

Wanted to laugh at that but didn't think it was that funny.
