junkbond_trader
Dennis Wilson-Pacific Ocean Blue. Great album. Very underrated musician. French Kicks-They don't have an original sound, but I enjoy them.Porcupine Tree-They seem to be getting more popular.Sigur Ros-I'm pretty sure everyone has heard them, but there are kinda like a wild card so I will throw them out there. LouieB
Okay, so like I didn't know who these guys were before, but after doing several videos of shows they played, I can't get their music out of my head..... The Chamber Strings.... LouieB
PigSooie
Cleotis. I don't think they are together anymore, but "Box O' Wine" was a fun tune.
LouieB
I have always wanted to write about Butch Vig's two bands prior to Garbage. Both were straight ahead midwestern rock. The first (and third) was called Spooner and the second was called Fire Town. LouieB

LouieB
I remember those guys! Of course I live in Madison, WI.Well sure you would, if you are old enough. I tracked down both early Spooner albums on both LP and CD and both Fire Town LPs. The second Spooner album was always touted as hot stuff by the Illinois Entertainer. I liked the third Spooner CD as well. LouieB

Kalle
The Band? lol everyone's heard of them. Great Lake Swimmers, awesome band check out Ongiara. Do Make Say Think, check out You, You're History In Rust. Jason Collett, probably fairly well known, very Wilcoish.

jimtweedy1977
I've mentioned them here before, but I'll say it again...the Avett Brothers. While they're mostly known for their high energy shows (using guitar, banjo, upright bass, and kickdrum no less), they also have songs with really pretty melodies. I'd love to see these guys open for Wilco one of these days.
