CommerceComet
what confirmation? she knows what she's talking about. I'm sure she does. I'd still like to see a link before I plan the watch party.
Preferred B
This is all thanks to the Swerski impressions at the Riv, I'm sure. What a weekend that'll be - SNL and then the Ryman.
j4lackey
So maybe there's a chance Fred Armisen will get Jeff in a skit or two?

myboyblue
So maybe there's a chance Fred Armisen will get Jeff in a skit or two? They typically reserve that sort of treatment for the more talented musicians like Jon Bon Jovi.
LouisvilleGreg
Wow, I actually leave the boards for a few hours and this is unloaded on us. This should have happened years ago. Excellent news.

Dr. Steve Brule
what confirmation? she knows what she's talking about. My track record is pretty good. I was correct on Nels retiring his long used Jazzmaster... I wish I hadn't invested all that money on their Grammy win in Vegas though.

BigWheeledWagon
This is good news indeed so long as it doesn't affect the Ryman show the following night.
DAngerer09
They better bring Daaaaaaa Total Proz out for Walken and Hate It Here.

paauwe
Hate It Here and Thanks I Get with the total pros. that wouldnt surprise me at all but. i also wouldnt be surprised if they took some rocking song from AM/Being There like kingpin or monday or something. especially after the residency. also, it wouldnt surprise me if shot in the arm was played. that song always seems to get a great response live. i was there on saturday, and as i looked around while it was being played, people were totally loving it! DAngerer09
no way the will play anything old. to the general public, they are still in sky blue sky promotion mode.
Sandoz
Sweet jesus. i wonder if i can make this happen.....
zebra
I wonder if any of the guys will make it into any skits as past musical guests have done.
solace
awesome!!!! but i'm hoping for songs other than Hate It Here & Walken... or at the very least, not Hate It Here :/. since it'll def be songs from Sky Blue Sky, i'd love to hear What Light and Side With The Seeds. Impossible Germany would be totally boss, but it's too long for TV.
tongue-tied
Hate It Here and Thanks I Get with the total pros. SNL doesn't seem ideal for a singalong (unlike the theatre of super-pumped chicagoans when they played Conan). Though I'm not pulling for it, I think What Light will be one of the two.
Scalzunfield
What Light would be a huuuuuge mistake.
Gewee
I just went in my way back machine to the future and they played Jesus Etc and Sky Blue Sky. The Obama skit to open the show was hysterical BTW
