RainDogToo
Does anyone have the Dr. Dog 2007 live Bonaroo tracks that itunes offered? I've been looking for that album but can't find it anywhere. I bought them and had it in my itunes Library, but for some reason, out of the blue, I couldn't play it anymore. Then about a month ago my hardrive crashed and now I lost them for good! If anyone is willing to help me out- I'd really appreciate it!!

Littlebear
This album is, finally, the only one album by this band I consider as a keeper. The previous two ended to be quite boring to me. Now they have found something. They master their thing. One thing that is almost shocking is how "Hang On" sounds like a pastiche of Wilco. I'm actually wondering if these bands sound similar for sharing similar influences, or if Dr Dog really aknowledges the influence of Wilco? By the way: do you know of other bands who sound influenced by Wilco? I can't seem to recall any other one.
solace
while they have toured together, i'd say it's more that they're both influenced by a lot of the same bands as much as i like Fate, it's second to We All Belong for me (and they have 5 albums if you're not aware). can't wait to see them again next week tho, as their live show is where it's at. lamradio
Just wanted to start a thread about Dr. Dog. Any fans? What's your favorite record? I'm pretty much hooked on them right now. Yes, "Fate" is a great record but I think it's my least favorite. I've been listening to "Easy Beat" all weekend and I think it's their best.. Holy crap the song "Easy Beat" is amazing... Â Going to see them in Asheville in September.. Can't wait.. Anyone else seen them live?
remphish1
Is this the band that uses the Digaradoo? I saw them in my local video store in State College at an instore. Maybe 10 people were there (This was in 2001). Then I saw them open up for some other band at the Crowbar in State College, PA. Don't remember much but do remember the digaradoo! lamradio
I've never seen them use a Digaradoo, but I wouldn't be surprised.. They have all kinds of random instruments/sounds on their records (I think I heard glass bottles in one song)..
Wendy
Oh, the no-3-letter-search function on this software makes it hard to find threads on bands like Dr. Dog and XTC etc. So I found this 11-page VC love affair thread with Dr. Dog and merged your new comments at the end, Lamrod. Thought you might like to read what others have said in the past about Dr. Dog.  Onward!   Maybe I can finally catch a show. Oops, no. I think Wilco is on tour Oct 16th.
