fatheadfred
McPain voted with Bush in regards to 2 ply. They sided w/ corporations that could hold a larger profit margin, while Obama, though not in office at the time, pronounced the negative effect this would have on the middle class's bungholes just so special interests could profit. John Smith
Is it just me or does it seem as if the McCain campaing is now runing Palin for president? Seems like every stop they make, every speech they make, everything has a focus on her and not so much on him.

I think boths candidates are for personal responsibilty in this area. McCain because he's against any governemnt regualtion of your personal life (except where politcally convienient) and Obama, because the topic is just gross.
John Smith
Palin is to McCain as the Bandit is to Cledus. You've been sayign that since the begining, but it is more and more evident each day. I think though that they are actually running her for president though. She provides more than jsut cover from the cops she is the campaign, she is the coors now.

One of my fears about Obama getting the nomination is that he and his team just aren't in the same ballpark with the Repubs when it comes to political savvy. (See Joe "Zzzzz" Biden.) Only the Clintons are, but all the idealists in the Democratic party turned up their noses and went for Obama, the ultimate lefty wet dream. So far, he has not proved up to the task. sweetheart-mine
You know why are we arguing abotu the financial meltdown of the united states when we have good news to talk about? Good news like this...Toilet-paper researchers create 3-ply tissue Tue Sep 16, 7:36 PM ETi just hate that i'm late to this important discussion. people tend to rip the same length of paper off the roll no matter now many plies it has. this means that the use of two-ply is a waste of one whole ply; three-ply will waste double that. we can't help ourselves.
