RaspberryJam
In for Ommegang and Newport. Nothing good for Hartford so I will wait.
mooney
wow. i'm seeing Wilco at a brewery in Cooperstown. My first visit to the BHOF.  i was planning a possible summer visit anyway. Now this happens. Life works good sometimes. Very tough choice - Newport or Cooperstown....love the bill at Newport, and gorgeous site....downside is expense of course. Gonna go with the low cost camp option. But yeah, can't really go wrong either way. Days past, id have gone to both - but....those are days past...

Al.Ducts
lots of presale still available for duluth and rochester...just got great seats for rochester 40 minutes in to presale... Looks like Duluth pre-sale allotment actually sold out. I'm planning on going to this one but couldn't make pre-sale this time around. I imagine it will be GA for the show though. I've never attended an event at the Bayfront Festival Park. Anyone know if this is the case?
worldrecordplayer
  how is that possible? There's a pre-sale for museum members going on right now. All I had to do was call and speak to a very nice person in the box office. I joined the museum after they announced they were going to be doing this benefit.

A heart I know by heart
Question for others going to Newport - will call only? That seemed to be the only option when I purchased the tix...

No additional fees, but still, $113. For anyone else who has a membership, apparently you have only until 5PM tomorrow (Friday) to buy at this price. After that it's the lottery system, where all bets are off in terms of price and availability.  Yeesh--I know it's a benefit and all, but still, this is going to turn out to be a very expensive little jaunt. I haven't bought my ticket yet. What to do, what to do. . . .
opsopcopolis
^ why don't you just put in at a normal price and assume right away that you won't get one of the top 500 and just hope you get one of the lottery?
Queen Amaranthine
Am I hallucinating? The Sioux City show July 7 is free? Really? The Wilco website doesn't list a link to ticket sales, and the city's Saturday in the Park event says it's free. Listed are Wilco, Chris Robinson Brotherhood(?) and Joss Stone.http://saturdayinthepark.com/ Â I'd much rather see the band in Des Moines or Iowa City and have it be their own show. I'm not one for festivals like that--too many people, too much music I don't necessarily want to wait through, and getting to Sioux City from where I live entails so many boring, winding county roads to get there--but really, should I be complaining?! Do you think Chris will sing Casino Queen with them like he did a few times in 1995?
