  1. Same here and I must say the first song does rock pretty hard!
  2. My dad and I have the Nuvi 350. We used it recently to travel through Michigan to London, Waterloo and Toronto with no problems what so ever it was fantastic. I definitely reccomend them to anyone going places they are not familiar with. I did the navigating and gave some more forewarning as to when to turn because sometimes the voice tells you right before you have to turn but we really had zero problems the entire way it was great. As for not knowing exactly where on the street your destination will be you really just have to use some common sense and look around, I know it never took us RIG
  3. I think you guys are right those pedals during the Residency are Andrew Birds because on one of the picture you see John has a Boss TU-2 and probably some form of an overdrive right beside his amps. Also Mikael has a few pedals on his top keyboard. His Nord Stage is on the bottom but I don't know what is on top, looks relatively old and I think he uses it for all the "weird" sounds (Spiders etc. when he's standing up).
  4. Drive-By Truckers Plants And Animals Thao With The Get Down Stay Down Born Ruffians Bon Iver Sun Kill Moon Fully agree with Jason Collett, can that guy rip off Dylan any more?
  5. That's cool their a great great band, played here last year at a tiny little place. They're just been announced to the Mariposa Folk Festival Lineup along with Taj Mahal, Joel Plaskett, Hayden and Peter Elkas. http://www.mariposafolk.com/signpost.php?dest=festival
  6. It's the same chords I believe lol. In the new American Songwriter Death Cab are on the cover and Ben talks about how much they love Wilco and Jeff's songs which is cool. I can't say I'm super impressed with the new song but it's good to see them doing something new. The "Gibbardisms" are still intact.
  7. Yeah llynn you totally got me into him a couple months ago when you posted a video of Well, thanks!
  8. Yeah that would be great .

  10. Agreed if Paste goes that would be a travesty. It's consistently my favorite magazine every month.
  11. Yeah they're a band from Toronto and they write some pretty catchy fun numbers, good stuff! I am listening to Tokyo Police Clubs - Elephant Shell, sorta the same style as Born Ruffians.
  12. Saw them play here with Luke Doucet about 2 months ago, new record is already has some really good songs and some junky ones que sera. They put on a solid solid show, Bob Egan (ex Wilco) is a really really tasteful steel player and Cuddy's vocals are great live.
  13. Yeah over the residency all the guys sported new gear and I'm pretty sure this is just a new JM, like previously stated his '59 was on it's last legs. Nels also had a new Jerry Jones (sunburst) and the double neck, maybe a few other things as well. They're all on Wilcoworld anyways. Tweedy got new Vox amps and a couple new Tele's and pulled out his pre-war Martin. Pat had a few things we haven't seen before. Instead of his Reeves he had a Twin Reverb and an AC30 on a few nights. The JM actually looks too new. One time I talked to Nels he said he would never play one of the new reissue Jazzma
  14. I'm hoping for the yearly Toronto date or somewhere else close, maybe Ann Arbor or Kalamazoo?
  15. Theologians is in F, it appears from this little snippet this in C (sorta close). F-----------------C til my life ends, C---------------(little walk up in to the chorus [C-C#-D]) oh yeah Dm-------------Em--------F I don't feel bad, Em-------------------Dm I don't feel lone-ly F I'm just glad it's over C I know you think I'm weak, I tell you somethin' C it's better we don't speak; C---------------------------F---Dm I got nothing to say to you, anyway.. Sorta ridiculous I tabbed out like a 20 second part of a song . Don't mind the dashes they're just there to keep the chords where they shoul
  16. I thought it sounded a bit like Hate It Here, or at least in that same vein. Sorta Steely Dan (as said before) the Band and White Album Beatles mixed, mind you it is a ridiculously short clip lol.
  17. He's named ropped bbop and froggie at shows, he must read some of this!
  18. Mine is a picture of me holding a picture of Jeff Tweedy and I over my face. So all you internet terrorists don't know my true identity .
  19. If he plays Massey Hall I don't think there could be a perfect show!
  20. God I hope he plays Toronto or somewhere in Michigan.
