  2. I find it hard to think about. I still cannot watch images from that day. Time has not healed my wounds yet, I guess.
  3. Why is the best song on W(TA) not properly chorded out here in L&T? I googled the Usual Suspects and it seems it is not anywhere on the internets. So I thought I would get the discussion started. Here is my meager attempt at it. Couple of notes: 1. I gave alternate Eb chord positions. 11th fret is fine for the Jazzmaster, but for a non-cutaway J-45 it can be a little tough (the 11th fret version is correct, although JT seems to jump around a little). 2. I am not sure about the 2nd "I'm not going too far" F chord. 3. I am really not sure about the breaks (didnt bother to show). Help is

  12. She used to be "meh" when it comes to Wilco. She would often complain about the "noise". Then we saw them live (Pomona show) and now she has become a huge fan. Totally won over by their live show. Now she has Wilco on repeat on her iPod. Go figure...

  16. Ha! I struggled with this, as well. But I overcame them in this fashion: 1) Fuck it. It is better than blowing my discretionary income on booze, drugs, beanie babies, Yankee paraphernalia, Honda Accord accessories, Ed Hardy T-shirts, ... etc. 2) Yes, the difference is huge. Unarguable [although I feel there is a steep curve in the beginning with diminishing returns above, say, 4k] 3) see Item #1
  17. a classic LP cover, no? Here is my morning playlist so far:
  18. The one I listened to the most. Second most spins for me. White Album is third...
  19. I am wondering if all this hoopla is worth it. I was a huge Beatles fan. I guess everyone goes through that discovery phase. But now I am bored to tears with those records. I have heard them way too many times now. Will the pre-1987 Stereo mix make a difference in the grand scheme of things? Will those little audible nuances be worth the cash? I have all the Purple Chick collection and when i listened I thought, "yeah... a little differnt". Then never listened again. Will these remasters be the same? Is this really just one last gasp for boomers to re-hash their greatest (and most stal
  20. +1 But are you sure its the Texan? I always assumed it wa the Casino.
  21. I am luke-warm on the list. Gotta somehwhat agree with the disconerd/hip-hop/hate-rock arguement dispensed by El Duderino. Maps is a riduculously great song and deserves to be there. Chokes me up everytime.
  22. This is one of the funniest things Ive seen in a while.
