i'm not extremely savvy to this whole Blu Ray thing, but i've noticed that when you watch older movies, especially those not filmed for HD or Blu Ray or whatever you call it these days, the quality isn't better, the grain is more prominent instead and all you see is the grain of the film and that does not equal picture clarity for the high quality you would w or expect. someone else probably said that already though.

I'm building letterhead templates in Microsoft Word. Is there a way to set headers and footers to not print (but appear on screen).??

i want to see this. although, not sure if i'll shell out the big bucks to catch it in the theater. i might though. i have always like Stone. you just have to put aside the "historical" aspect and take his movies for what they are, entertainment.

i remember when i was little my mom bought my sister and i guppies. i didn't want the guppies to get cold, so i changed the water and put hot water in the bowl. within minutes, the guppies tails bent down and curled under. i asked my mom why the fish were swimming funny. they all died. i don't know if they died because of the warm water or my mom gave up on fish care then and there and flushed them down the toilet.

I like EP (and the song Tropical Iceland is a + for me). The newest that bigshoulders is completely addicted to made my head spin (he witnessed it). It is weird the fiery furnaces are hit or miss for me.

there was another thread that dates even further back that has a lot of good shows listed in it. Analogman is much better at the search feature than i am. i remember posting in it about the Charlotte show from last June; i think it is one of the best recordings (sound quality) out there. it is a worthy one to have.

I thought I'd jump in here for a brief moment. I considered getting a Prius and decided on the MINI cooper because of some of the reasons bigshoulders noted. If you're heart is with the Prius, then that's the way to go, but if you're asking about the pros and cons of a Prius because you're not sure you want one then the only thing I know to do is compare it to other vehicles and to itself. I concede that the MINI cooper is not for everyone, they are small, VERY small and have limited cargo room and people room. They have a sticker rating of anywhere from in the 20mpgs for a convertible to 30s

has anyone else gotten theirs yet? mine just arrived today. opened up the cd [enhanced] popped it into my ibook and nothing. a black screen of nothingness. popped the cd [enhanced] into my MacBookPro and a splotchy start of the album streaming I am assuming and then nothing. I searched the board in case others had this problem already and couldn't find anything. I did find some help with the Sky Blue Sky enhanced cd. I adjusted my quicktime settings and still nothing. anyone? am rather curious about the enhanced portion of the bonus disk. (although still very happy to finally own Yankee Hotel

at my school Pikes were dicks. TKEs were geeks, and Delta Sigs had all the money (and their own private mansion off campus). It is interesting reading sentiments of parents dropping their children off at college. i moved away for college and drove myself there, no accompanying parent. talk about a terrifying day. kudos to the supportive parents. and i second bobbob, a kid with a good head on their shoulders will do fine. college is great!

3.87 in DC. it dropped .10 in less than 12 hours. it was 4.05 last week. i sense dropping gas prices until Nov. think we'll get below $3 before then?
