  1. And Brennan. Or is that the insanity part?
  2. They have to. Between the loads of beef jerky and recording equipment can you imagine what their baggage fees would be?
  3. Could someone post a photo? I couldn't find it in the Jumble website.
  4. Have you tried posting on Petfinder.com? I had to find another home for a cat when it decided it hated my daughter. I was very frank about my feelings that it should go to an adult only home. A woman called me who had a mouse problem (this cat was a particularly good hunter) and when she got the cat back to her house she called me within a half hour telling me that the cat had caught a mouse already and how happy she was. So, good stuff all around.
  5. I was thinking that as well, but I wonder if there will be rumors (hopefully true) that Jeff will share the stage some with Levon.
  6. I found this place while looking for a place to stay. Unfortunately, they don't have availability for my Chicago trip, but maybe someone else could use it. I'm not from Chicago, so I can't say anything about the neighborhood. Looks cool though, and the prices are good. http://longmanandeagle.com/
  7. We are going to Chicago in June and I really wanted to stay here: http://longmanandeagle.com/ BUT, they have no room when we will be there. It's a restaurant that has rooms, prices are not bad!
  8. Just started listening to Can. Love.
  9. Just like bacon making all food taste better, gay bars make everyone more fun! My husband and I love having Paul sightings, even before we knew who you were!
  10. Dustin Pittman http://www.dustinpittman.com/ Look through the historic icons section of his portfolio. He started out as a rock photographer in the seventies and moved into fashion later. Mostly CBGB types, Debbie Harry, Lou Reed, NY Dolls, etc. He did cover one of the Rolling Stone's tours too. Full disclosure: he's my cousin.
  11. I went to 3 nights actually, the 10th, 11th, and 12th. The 12th was the night they did Fillmore East, but I thought the 11th was the better night, if someone is downloading shows. "Why does Love Got to be So Sad" was a real kicker. Derek Trucks is just getting better and better. 1. Don't Want You No More > 2. It's Not My Cross To Bear 3. Ain't Wastin' Time No More 4. River's Gonna Rise 5. Stand Back 6. Desdemona with Randall Bramblett, sax 7. Key To The Highway with Devon Allman, guitar; Gabriel Strange, drums 8. Egypt 9. Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad? with Jimmy Vivino, guitar, voc
  12. I was at that Beacon show where they played Live at the Fillmore East. It was very, very good, Bob Lefsetz nailed it exactly. You'd be surprised at Manic Depression. My beef though is the $100+ tickets, $18 mixed drinks (!), paying for Moogis, etc. I'm calling the Beacon shows the ABB Retirement Plan. Oddly, one of my neighbor's is in Max Creek and he says that everything you hear about Dickey Betts is true. The guy's a world class dick.
  13. If you do that, make sure to make a stop at Abbots in Noank for lobstah rolls!
  14. If you feel like driving you could go to the Cape. If not you could do Newport, Mystic, Providence. Saratoga is nice too.
  15. I'm going to second the G series. The real only limitation I can see is the inability to change lenses. Size is a huge bonus, there are lots of ways to override automatic settings, can use WAV so there is lots of editing that can be done. I've had my G9 for 4 or 5 years and it travels great. Really good versatile solid camera.
  16. I saw Levon Helm play with the Allman Brothers and Taj Mahal a few years ago and he was FANTASTIC. I hope he's singing. One of these days I'll get to a Ramble.
