I saw Whiskeytown a couple times and have seen Ryan Adams three times, including the last tour. Each time I have seen him has been less interesting than the time before. That set list does not indicate to me that trend is changing.

On another note, this is in the Frequently Asked Questions on the SS site: Chairs & blankets will also be restricted between the mainstage and Soundboard area. If enforced, this will make many on Joe's Field happy. And annoy a few.

Kevin Morby, Kacy & Clayton, Big Thief, The Shaggs - all solid acts for the (likely) afternoon slots. On first glance, Deep Sea Diver looks like a winner, too. Surprised that Courtney Barnett is not on the bill.

He may play a 6-8 song solo set in the middle of the Tweedy set. That was the standard for past Tweedy shows.

I remember after the opening song thinking that this is my new favorite band. By the end of the show, it was my favorite band forever. Still my favorite all-time concert of the 300 or so I have seen since 1983.
