Single day tickets on sale tomorrow. Assume that means we will also know who is playing what day.

Kacy & Clayton are opening up the June shows. I think that is new news.
-
I have tickets to their first Chicago show. I'd rather hear them do Crowes tunes than play new stuff. I sound old.

For sure.

I am lucky enough to have seen all but 11 songs off albums/eps played. If I got to see 10 but not the 11th I would skip I Thought I Held You. 1. More Like the Moon 2. Everlasting Everything 3. Sunloathe 4. Solitaire 5. Nope 6. EKG 7. Just Say Goodbye 8. Quarters 9. Shrug and Destroy 10. Common Sense 11. I Thought I Held You

The level of talent is very high. I was able to catch one show at both fests I went to without too much of an issue. Reggie Watts and John Mulaney.

Reviving a 7 year old thread to see if anybody has listened to Hot Thoughts which was released yesterday. I took a couple spins through it today and think it's pretty great. I haven't spent a lot of time with their music since I gave They Want My Soul a shot back in 2014 and didn't think it held up to their earlier amazing work.

Thanks for the responses. I'm flying day of into Albany. I've done Hartford in the past so this will be a good change. When do we start ranking the solid sound performers?

What time do we think things kick off on Friday? I'm booking flights this week and determining whether we can fly in day of...I go every other fest and seem to recall 4 or 5ish?

Posted this in another thread, but Eaux Claires has locked in their daily schedule and for Wilco it is side projects day 1/ Wilco day 2.

I just want to jump in and say that I support this ticket selling practice. While not perfect it does a lot to fight scalping for many fans while only inconveniencing the few where plans change and they can't make it.

The Nels Cline Four has locked in Sunday as the day of the festival they are playing. Will be interesting to see the rest of the daily lineups spilling out...

I'm excited to see The Magpie Salute in action this summer. I've watched a couple youtube clips and they look good. I'm not going to overdue that though...

Did you see Sneaky Pete? I thought his acting wasn't great there. Was surprised to come to that conclusion given Walter White performance

Bells is all over Chicago. They dropped out of the market for few years last decade, but they've been back for a while.

So....scared to ask this, but....how many songs will Wilco repeat between the two sets at SS? 15??

Wilco — 23 February 2017, Chicago, IL (Chicago Theatre) [Night 2 of 4]
nalafej replied to bböp's topic in After The Show
Agree with this. There were 13 repeats over the 1st two night's at last year's San Fran run. This is reality with the band these days. They are playing to bigger crowds who are paying more and seeing Wilco less and want to see the "hits". The fact that Wilco has been off the road and all live primarily in different states these days can't help... -
Not exactly a show, but John and Pat are going to be at The Virgin Hotel after the show Saturday as part of The "Wilco vs Wild Belle" Vinyl DJ Battle.
