TCP
I like Sufjan a lot but not that cover.
Jesusetc84
Never mind, got it here! There are a couple of other great songs unreleased from the Basement tapes too; "Sign of The Cross" and "All You Have to Do is Dream" come to mind.
Gobias Industries
I really liked Sufjan's. Stop the hatin'!
Aeglos
Jeff sounds great don't really like Chan's song choice but no complaints about her performance, but really hanging out to hear the Malkmus and YLT interpretations
TheMaker
I'm jonesin' for Lanegan doing Man in the Long Black Coat. What are the odds that this recording is going to be chilling? 100:100? Something like that, I think. Talk about a perfect choice.
boywiththorninside
I'm guessing this was the template for Tweedy's cover - alternate lyrics, violin and all: Dylan - Simple Twist of Fate - 1975 John Hammond Tribute
Kalle
Yeah it definately is, the same key and everything.

HighFives
this is gonna be a great release. sufjan's track sucks though. his voice doesn't work with that track at all.
mastershake
But aren't the best cover songs actual reworkings of the original done in the style of the artist covering it? Just saying, you can't fault the guy for doing them "his" way.well really he did a pretty straight cover, he just didn't hold out those notes. i think those long held out notes are the best part of the song... but i still like the cover.
