dontknownuthin
To me this sounds like one of those classic tunes that's catchy in it's pre-album form but gets a sonic overhaul in the studio and comes out the other side a real gem. Can't wait!
DAngerer09
yeah i agree. this definitely has to be a song that's been worked on in the studio when they've said they've already recorded stuff. this is easily the most promising of the new ones we've heard. holyshit
Living, as I do, in Hitler's Asscrack, Ohio, and wondering how I'm going to make it through the next few days and the legal nightmare that may begin November 5, I have to thank Wilco for this tune. I've never posted here before, and I won't go into the grim details, but wow...did I need a sympathetic shoulder and WOW...did the guys come through. Next time, though, we need to see Jeff spiffed up in the expensive suit and tie and Stephen in the Tweedy, ah, uniform.
u2roolz
Hey Everyone, I love Wilco The Song.  I finally remembered what it reminded me of.  The Cure's Never Enough. Especially the music and playfulness of the song. The Greatest Hits version more than the one off Mixed Up. Anyone else think of this song ? Otherwise, very glad that they did it today in WI. Thanks, Kristofor
CommerceComet
I'd suggest leaving the Colbert reference out, if they ever decide to play it again. Then what would rhyme with "hair?"

~A~
They just re-ran the episode. I love this song. It is really catchy. The first time I heard it I was just too busy trying to listen to the lyrics. Excellent song! Bravo, Wilco!
Edie
Hitler's Asscrack, Ohio,  Welcome to the board! Wilco changes minds one mind at a time!
junkiesmile
Good song. Normally it annoys me when a band mentions their name in a song but Jeff does it with a nudge and a wink. It has the right amount of cockiness and bravado. Very catchy. I hope there are more like it down the road.

Gobias Industries
I'll assume that's on the outskirts of Cincinnasty. Anyway, welcome!  From a recent episode, Colbert called Canton, OH "Hitler's Asscrack." Mostly because he had already gotten all the other Cantons in the United States angry with him, so he had no other Canton to insult besides the Ohio one, which even earlier he called "the real Canton." I wish Hitler's Asscrack were outside the Nasty 'nati, though.  For those interested in rocking out themselves to it, I tabbed it out here.
