lizish
Saw Dan last night and he was very very nice in all the right ways. We talked quickly about our mutual love for the Broken Family Band, Grandpa's hand-me-down Buicks and Pink Nasty, plus he's at SXSW next week, so all you lucky people who get to go, put him on your list. love this song and really happy how the capture turned out: (I thought It was about his Grandpa and he confirmed it)

Moss
I'm really liking the Local Natives album, then I ran across this in Pitchfork (Ryan Hahn from local natives). Apparently a fan of Wilco: Favorite Older Songs at the Moment Ryan Hahn: Wilco: "I'm a Wheel" is awesome. Elvis Costello & the Attractions: "No Action". Arctic Monkeys: "Fake Tales of San Francisco". The Supremes: "Love Is Here and Now You're Gone".
bobfrombob
alright - got tickets to Mangan next week. He also just got a prime gig on the Today show last Friday with the big man Poet Shane Koyczan. Very cool for an indie guy http://network.nationalpost.com/NP/blogs/theampersand/archive/2010/03/12/cmw-2010-q-amp-a-dan-mangan.aspx The Ampersand's annual Canadian Music Week Q&As are back, featuring a mix of well known and little known acts playing this year's festival. Here, Dan Mangan: Q: If you were going to book a CMW showcase, who, besides you, would be on it? A: Wilco, Radiohead, Bon Iver and M. Ward - they've all got potential and I'd love to help them out if I could.
