White Fence last night. I still can't believe how different they are live vs record. such a great live band.

My husband picked up their "Live from San Francisco" record a few weeks back-- that is some seriously good rock! Doubt they'll make it to our neck of the woods, though.

I saw Keith Jarrett last night.  Not that anyone cares.

Was he cranky---I do enjoy listening to him, but he sure can be a dick.

One of these days I am going to catch a jazz show at the Symphony Center.

Jarrett was not cranky.  He did joke at the beginning after an ovation from the audience "can I we go home now?"  In fact he was very subdued.  A good show with Jack DeJonnette and Gary Peacock. Good stuff.

Seeing a show at Symphony Center is an interesting experience.  An older crowd that is generally extremely polite.

The Delines - such a wonderful band to see live. A stunning set of songs which sounded beautiful.

My wife and I spoke with Willy Vlautin after the show and he was generous and humble and an all 'round good guy. He signed my copy of Northline and I left the venue a happy man.
