BRI went to one of these things in Norfolk, VA around the time of the Star Wars release, and it happened to be a night when there was a big hurricane watch so the brewery was practically deserted. My friend and I were the only entrants into the giveaways and I ended up with a special edition vinyl Star Wars signed by everyone in the band + 2 tickets to the show at the Norva. Interesting that he will be playing acoustic bass. He didn't even play acoustic bass when Wilco was doing the acoustic encores on the recent Wilco tours. Also saw that the Daniel Johnston/ Jeff Tweedy and Friends show sold out. I guess we know that John isn't the bass player for that show. I wonder who the friends will be? It could be just him and Jeff, though the "and friends" would seem to imply more folks being involved. The other Tweedy band members would seem to be good possibilities.
