nalafej
2,000 people and how many bots? It would be hilarious if they listed the number of bots.

calvino
Just scored a general admission ticket on the field --  $155.20 with fees. It's in the back of the field, but I'll take it.

NoJ
^These are some of the reasons I no longer bother with even attempting to get tix to stadium shows^
Lammycat
I've been able to get in and get better seats, right now even, but it won't take my Visa, only Amex!
calvino
Yeah - one of the 1,000,000 pre-sale codes in Chicago is a AmEx one --- actually it's the one I used to grab my 2 tix.  In Chicago there is another few pre-sales tomorrow and the general on-sale date is Friday. Lammycat
^These are some of the reasons I no longer bother with even attempting to get tix to stadium shows^Ditto. But, it's The Stones and my wife nor I have ever seen them. We decided to put up with the cost and hassle to make it happen.
uncool2pillow
If anyone can give me the presale code for Soldier Field Chicago Bears Presale (I assume for season ticket holders??), I'd be most appreciative.
calvino
Don't know the bears code - the stones one is midnight - though I am guessing you knew that.
uncool2pillow
yup - Seems to have only unlocked nosebleeds. Cheap at $66, but there are Bears ones about $150 I'd rather get.
calvino
WXRT is having another pre-sale tomorrow at 10 am (central) - their code will be - cloud

Lammycat
Got some in the heavens for $100 oh well I’m in!Yep. I mean, really, unless you have super-expensive lower seated (no GA Field) and can actually see them, why not accept that you'll be watching them mostly on the large screens. As long as the sound is good....
calvino
Looks like they added a 2nd show for Chicago on the 25th.

u2roolz
Another option is to just show up day of event and pay for parking and you can hear the band fairly well. This works well at Gillette Stadium.
suites
I got mine. Just started watching the Doc on Bobby Keys last night. Never realized the other peeps he played with (including Buddy Holly?). What a life.

chuckrh
The Bobby Keys film is great. Some great interview stuff with Keith & Charlie. I waited out the TM waiting room. Took about 15 minutes. I ended up getting the exact tickets I wanted in Seattle. ADA seats in the front of the upper deck, Keith side, about even with the end of the catwalk (50 yard line). $100 each, not cheap but not out of line. Could be way worse. We've sat there for some spectacles (U2, Metallica, G 'n R) & the perspective is very good. & the sound there at Century Link is excellent. I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I've seen the Stones over 20 times from a club to arena to stadium. Have spent hundreds of dollars for tix in the past. Those days are gone but is ok. I can't stand for a show & would rather have a seat with no one in front of me. In fact almost have to nowadays. Excited.

NoJ
Bobby Keys's autobiography is really good too. Made me appreciate his skills even more.
Goalinlifewastobeanecho
Got section 239, row 1, seat 15 for the Friday show in yesterday's pre-sale. I've only been to one show at Soldier Field and was on the floor, so I'm not entirely sure of the sight line I'll have. Looked online and it looks pretty decent and it was in my price range so I grabbed it.
