Wilco.    Noteworthy as this is my 100th Wilco show.

Despite all the controversy with the Springsteen tickets I managed to score decent seats on the verified fan sale in about 10 minutes yesterday. I got ADA seats 4 rows back behind the stage. Those sea

As promised, here's some pictures of the Beths on Friday night. As I don't drink they put me at the side of the stage in the all ages area. A guy was there with his 13 year old daughter. He wasn't fam

Friday, Saturday and Sunday:  Drive-By Truckers @ Pappy & Harriet's

Flying to San Diego tomorrow morning, getting picked up at the airport by my oldest son and we're driving to Pioneertown for three nights of DBT-mania.  We're staying with my college roommate who lives in the Palm Springs area.  Can't wait.

Have you been to Pappy & Harriet's before? You're in for such a treat! If you're having dinner beforehand, I recommend their flat iron steak. Have fun!
If you have time, drive on down the road past P&H for about 10 minutes...don't turn off at the curve, stay to the straight-ahead road. In about 10 minutes, on your right, you'll come to a very cool pile-up of rock formations close to the roadway, and fun to climb up. No gear needed, it's just a hill with paths worn into it. Neat views! :thumbup

I'm so jealous! A Vegas run wouldn't be smart right now as I'm on a fixed income. Please let us know how the show is.

It’s so surreal it’s not like any other concert I have been to! Really hard to explain but the visuals were amazing!

Where did you sit/stand and where do you think somebody seeing the show for the first time should seek out as far as which section to buy tickets for? I've heard conflicting opinions...

I was in 310. 305 would be the sweet spot. I don’t think ga makes sense to get the full experience in my opinion.

We were in 211, near the wall. Frankly the views were A+ and the sound amazing. To give you an idea, three days have passed, and my wife and I are still talking about it.

Yeah it was surreal no other concert I have been to in over 30 years has been even close to this experience!

Saw them last month in Sydney and loved them.  Terrific band.  Much funkier and jammier than I expected.

They were great. After one 'jam' he even said something along the lines of "tell your friends that band with the sad folks songs is doing something new"

So...you are not alone there! I'm all for the cowfunk.
