bobbob1313
The album is called IN RAINBOWS.You can buy the album in two formats: discbox or download. The discbox version comes with TWO CD's, TWO vinyl discs, as well as the download. This costs 40 pounds, or about $81. I bought two. The album cost of the download version is up to you. You type in how much you'd like to pay for the album, and that is the cost. I am not joking, check the website. The discboxes will be shipped on or before December 3. The download will be available on OCTOBER TENTH. THAT IS IN TEN DAYS TIME PEOPLE, WE WILL GET A NEW RADIOHEAD ALBUM. Somebody just posted this on another website, and I can't find anything on it anywhere. Is it bogus? Ok, details on radiohead.com. Looks legit. This is exciting, I'll be getting the digital album for 10 bucks, I guess.

deepseacatfish
That's pretty cool about the download pricing, and the whole new Radiohead album thing...but it anyone else a little disappointed there isn't a cheaper "hard" copy version? I am.
Stefanie
i would imagine that at some point there will be a hard copy available by itself.
stickman
I shelled out what ended up being 80 bucks (damn you shitty conversion rate!) without even thinking twice. I'm sure this is going to be the best purchase of the year.

HighFives
I remember liking reckoner a couple years ago when I heard it. the rest of the stuff was kinda just alright.
TheMaker
There's nothing weird about this. This could be revolutionary or catastrophic. One thing's for sure, it's very exciting! I'm a casual Radiohead fan, but suddenly I really want to get at this record!
WilcoIsLove
WOW10 days?!I LOVE RADIOHEADI am so PSYCHED!
street spirit
this beats out the Stars digital release for coolest industry related move of the year... i hope the music lives up to it. $80 is a lot, but you do get a double-vinyl, the cd, another cd with bsides, lyric booklets, and the digital download on Oct. 10th... and the whole lot is encased in a hardcover book and a slipcase. it's not all that pricey considering what you're receiving. Welsh Rich
I wonder if you will be able to buy the hardcopy in the shops... nice idea though. I had a sneaking suspicion that that might do something like this - the download is practically free.
bcdoc
Note to family: early Christmas present. Videotape, Arpeggi, and Down is the New Up are solid.
deepseacatfish
it's not all that pricey considering what you're receiving.Yeah, but it's still more pricey than I'm willing to spend. I'm definitely going to pay something for the download. I think that's a cool idea.
Sir Stewart
Here is where you can buy it. So effing pumped. Am I blind?Where are you all purching this? EDIT: "purching" was a typo, but I like it, so I'm leaving it

Sure, but it would be nice to have the option of just buying the CD, and maybe the b-sides CD as well. I don't need a book. Or the vinyl either, really.
spills
i must be blind too, because i can't do anything on this page, except to click on 'radiohead' and go back to dead air space. what gives?
