nalafej
The band is confirmed for the Black Deer festival in Kent, UK this June. Expect we'll see dates popping up near there before and after. Hopefully West Coast US dates prior?
themanwholovesyou
Great. A decent chance of an Ireland gig around the same time. Hope it's not a festival slot, though....

Magnetized
High Water Festival has the biggest price stratification between levels of any festival I know of. General admission $125, VIP $469, Platinum Pearl $1500. The GA price is a stone cold bargain.
SarahC
That is absolutely bananas. $1500!! Is the time of being priced out of Wilco shows coming soon? Or at least getting decent seats for under $200....

Wilco in Chicago costs $110 and I'm guessing they play a long headling set during the fest. It's a great linup too.
sonnyfeeling
We've been to High Water the past two years. It's a wonderful event and we'll be back next year. If past performance is a guide, Wilco will play a longish set (at least 90 minutes, maybe more, not an abbreviated festival set) on Saturday night after sunset. And we are strongly considering that ridiculously expensive package.

Albert Tatlock
Describing the pit as an amenity made me laugh, thinking back to those times before the pit got gentrified.
50footqueenie
'The historic Eternal Father Of The Seal Chapel' sounds like a Masonic night out at the zoo. Presumably you get free fish as part of the VIP package. FFS!
radiowilco
I bought GA tickets this morning - this festival comes highly recommended from some friends who have gone every year. $140 for both days is a steal for this type of festival and the terrific line up Shovels and Rope have assembled - this Platinum Pearl package thing is really ridiculous, however... Have never been to Charleston - gonna make a full week of it and hit up Savannah as well!
Madcap
Festival looks pretty sweet and i'm sure that the chapel set will be amazing, but hot damn that is a lot of coin!

Last year the festivals overlapped and we were able to see Jeff Tweedy and the Dimmer Twins in separate shows in Savannah before driving up to Charleston for High Water. The timing is not so fortuitous this year, alas, but Savannah is still worth the trip.

Madcap
Not that i'll need another Wilco show in March after Chicago/Mexico, but it's a little surprising they're skipping Milwaukee in favor of Madison. Hopefully that isn't a trend.
