At Jason Isbell concert on Saturday, just before he took the stage, they played "I Must Be High" (irony!  Isbell finished rehab about a year ago).  Oh, also, not heard but seen.  Jeff Tweedy and Susan Miller Tweedy were at the Lucius/Blisters/Alpenglow concert on Friday night!  They roped off a little VIP section in the balcony.

My husband and I heard California Stars last Saturday night at the Red Lobster in Wichita, Kansas.  

We were clearly the only ones in the place that took note.

Does Facebook count? A friend of mine from wayback (haven't seen him in over twenty years) mentioned listening to California Stars today, leaving me pleasantly surprised. For once a Wilco reference not made by a bunch of weirdos I know through the internet.

On the TV show "Trophy Wife" on Tuesday, the Bradley Whitford character played California Stars on the jukebox. I thought "that's a pretty good jukebox".

 

Is there a Joe Perry character on that show too?
