dtram
I'm not sure if this counts as being out and about but got in my car to make a quick run to the store last night and put XM-50 The Loft on and they had just started playing the Lonely 1. I have never heard that song on anything resembling a radio station, satellite or otherwise, and it really took me by surprise. I have always loved that song and just hearing it on the radio made me really pay attention to it. Being There was such an important album to me at the time it came out and hearing a deep cut from it on the radio made my night.
LouieB
Apparently Wilco (the album) is XRT's #1 listener poll winner, beating out U2, so they played a song from it last night. LouieB

Rich Terfry on CBC Radio Two Drive plays Wilco quite a bit. Always the same song, though. For the longest time it was "You and I." More recently it's been "Sonny Feeling." See you in the Hammer! radiatortunes
Unbelievably boring morning at work today. Then one of my colleagues who is a loudtalker and never closes his office door when he's on the phone (which is all day) says to one of his clients, "you can come by any time you want." I think this should count.
