linclink
From "A Shot In The Arm" Unofficial Wilco Facebook Fan Page: "The magazine, "Under the Radar" features an interview between Courtney Barnett and Jeff for those interested. Haven't finished the whole interview yet but sounds like another Wilco record is almost ready."

Yeah, for those curious, he says the material was started at the same time as what ended up becoming Star Wars, they just divided it up by style. Tweedy describes these songs as "a fucked-up country record." He says it's about finished, but they're not in a big hurry to put it out.
The Inside of Outside
Tweedy describes these songs as "a fucked-up country record." That sounds fantastic.

Is it a single interview with both Tweedy and Courtney? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
lost highway
I just saw it in the book store. It's kind of a curated conversation with both of them. A person from the magazine asks an occasional question, and then they each go off and respond to each other. Good content on creativity, but fairly short.
theashtraysays
Does anyone know how seating at the Tabernacle in Atlanta works? If you have a reserved balcony seat, can you still go to the GA floor area? Are there chairs in the GA floor area? Thanks!!

So, I heard that last night some folks were told "no" for #1; that balcony tickets are not allowed on the floor. Was anyone successful (or unsuccessful) in using a balcony ticket to get onto the floor? Thanks,Vince
tinnitus photography
I'd be surprised if you can, since that's likely how they control for capacity. there are at least two venues in Boston that getting to the floor require a specific ticket (House of Blues, Wilbur). but there are ways around that, obv. jff
Interesting, I could've sworn I've gone from reserved seat to GA floor at the Tabernacle before, but I could be misremembering. It would make sense not to allow it, for crowd control reasons.
theashtraysays
yeah, it was a pretty full house last night (and should be tonight). I can see the wisdom of limiting that.
jff
Maybe when (if?) I did that it was for a show that wasn't sold out, so they were more lenient.

I was there for Lettuce, we had seats upstairs in the lower boxes. When we entered through that door, we checked our coats right there. Unbeknownst to me at the time, at some point after everyone was in, they move the coats to the large coat check at the main entrance. So when we left, they sent us onto the GA floor to get to coat check. So we spent some time hanging by the sound board. So if you're upstairs and want to get down, just go "claim" your coat early! Albert Tatlock
If sales go well they should tag on a second night in London. Then on the first they can do a run through of Star Wars, and on the second do the same for the new album they would just have brought out by then I thank you.
